Through Islamic scholarship, teaching, writing, technology, and community service, Isse Abdi seeks to make beneficial knowledge accessible, strengthen Muslim families and institutions, mentor young people, and help prepare the next generation of knowledgeable, confident, and principled Muslim leaders.
02 / Biography
For many years, Isse has served as a khatib and Islamic teacher, delivering Friday sermons, lectures, and educational programs for Muslims living in America.
His teaching spans Qur’an, Aqidah, Fiqh, Hadith, Islamic character, and leadership. Across every subject, he works to make authentic Islamic knowledge clear, relevant, and actionable.
Beyond the classroom and minbar, Isse is active in community leadership, education, and youth development—strengthening families, mentoring young people, developing future leaders, and helping build resilient institutions.
His professional background in information technology and cybersecurity adds another dimension to his work, connecting ethical leadership with information security, risk management, IoT security, and the responsible use of emerging technology.
